For the first time since February 4th the temperature
in Waterville rose to - and even a few degrees above -
the freezing mark!
Right up until quitting time, Tuesday afternoon, the DPW was still carving out sidewalks.

The Weather Forecast from TWCNY:
"Cold Returns, Better Temperatures this Weekend
We are back to the cold this morning with lows in the low teens and wind chills near or slightly below zero. Winds will keep it feeling cold today with a few flurries and otherwise low key conditions. No big systems around for the rest of the week.
Tonight and into tomorrow the cold air remains with us with lows going below zero and wind chills remaining an issue. We have bright skies and quiet conditions otherwise to close out the week.
The weekend features a few snow showers and extra clouds from time to time, but it will be better with the temperatures in the upper 20s and 30s. "
