Jody Hildreth has been posting scores of photographs of the Musical Production "West Side Story" on Facebook. If you haven't seen them there, you can now view the entire collection on "Shutterfly" and order prints, if you want to, by clicking HERE
Jody makes no profit from these prints.  Instead, he asks that if you purchase or download any of them that you make a financial contribution to the Brothertown Music Boosters.  Make a check out to them and have your child give it to one of our school's music teachers.

(Thank you for all of your work and generosity, Jody! )

It's Garbage Day
13.5 degrees at 5:00 a.m.

Here's the Weather Forecast from TWCNY:

"Bright Skies and Chilly Today, Snow Showers and Flurries Ahead.High pressure will provide the area with plenty of sunshine and quiet weather today. Temperatures will remain cold on around 25 and 30.
Next up is a new system sliding in from the south on Friday. This system will bring scattered snow showers back to the forecast on Friday with temperatures climbing into the 30s.
Temperatures will improve a bit heading into the upcoming weekend and we'll manage to temporarily get back up into the low 40s before another cold front swings through Saturday/Saturday night.  In the wake of this front, temperatures will settle back into the 20s on Sunday with a few scattered snow showers."

Hints of Spring!

The sun is brighter and warmer, now, and I spotted a deer "sunbathing" on a grassy patch near Fuess-Cleary Road.

The Mallards are back, too! I scared about a hundred off the open water of the little pond at the foot of Grant Hill.....

... and although I know that it's really too early to expect them, it'll soon be time for Hepaticas to show up next to tree trunks in Hanover.

Pussy-willows - fake, but fun - on the front door ....

and inside the house, a pot of Nasturtiums, planted on March 1.
