Who: Defending section champion Waterville (22-) is ranked No. 1 in the Class C state poll; Watertown's Immaculate Heart Central is 16-6.
What: Section III Class C boys basketball championships.
When: 12:45 p.m. Sunday.
Where: Onondaga Community College's SRC Arena.
Admission: $8.
Past: Waterville won its first section title since 22 last year, and the Indians are 43-3 the last two seasons (losing only to eventual state champs Hoosic Valley and New York Mills); IHC's Cavaliers won their last section title as a Class C school in 26.
Present: Waterville won a third straight CSC Division III title and has two wins over defending Class D state champ New York Mills, ending the Marauders' 22-game winning streak.
Future: Winner goes on the road to play the Section IV champion in a regional final at a neutral Southern Tier site and time yet to be determined.
