Do you yearn for planets or galaxies? You should be able to satisfy your appetite for both this night. Venus and Jupiter blaze bright with dim Mars and Uranus slipping toward the Sun. Saturn will appear for late-night diehards.

The realm of galaxies will emerge from the east for their grand performance in May. Has anyone seen the Pup, Sirius’ companion white dwarf, or Rigel’s companion? Now is a good time to try for both.

Dress warmly, and bring along your family and friends to enjoy the night sky at our wonderful observatory!
