 Wednesday afternoon post.

To Both SYLVIA and PHILLIP PERSON!

*******

It's 63.5 degrees and overcast at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

The Weather Forecast from TWCNY:

"Seasonable Thursday
, Unsettled Friday.

A weak front is expected to slide through this evening with extra clouds and a couple spotty showers. It will be chilly with patchy fog overnight with lows in the 40s.
High pressure will make a temporary comeback Thursday, providing quiet weather with seasonable highs in the low and mid 60s. Our next system arrives later Thursday night into Friday (an area of low pressure and associated cold front) with clouds and showers. Despite the more active finish to the week, temperatures should still manage to climb into the low and mid 60s.
High pressure builds back in over the weekend with mostly sunny skies expected Saturday and Sunday. Highs will be in the 50s Saturday and back into the 60s Sunday. Lots of sunshine and even warmer temperatures are expected on Monday with highs in the low 70s."

— NEWSWORTHY —

On Monday morning John Brouillette posted a message on Facebook for his many "friends" to read and share. It said that his usual buyer was not going to take the Green Beans he had grown on a fifteen-acre field behind Ernie Janus' home on Gridley-Page Road, and that anyone who wanted to was welcome to come and pick!

I didn't get there until Tuesday afternoon, but was surprised at the number of cars  in the neighboring field.

There were about two dozen pickers there, then, spread out across the large field, and I've been told that more and more have kept coming ever since. I've spoken with several,  and they all have one thing to say:

"THANK YOU,  JOHN BROUILLETTE!"
