Thursday Photos, finally!

First Stop, West Main Street .....

....... where something is going on in the building between
Fred's Barber Shop and "The Slaughtered Lamb."

Then to Sanger Hill, where - at Brothertown Road - resurfacing of Sanger Hill Road began a few days ago......

........... and has progressed westward, beyond Sawmill Road.
Motorists will love that!
(But I hope that they don't like it TOO much!)

Similar work took place last week at the Railway Underpass on Route 20, where extreme "bumps" have been removed from both east- and westbound lanes.

*****

Checking on Hop Vines.....

... at the Forward Farm, on Water Street ....

.. and at the Mosher Hop Yard on Route 26 south of Route 20, where vines have reached the highest wires.

********************

Hops weren't the only fast-climbing vines:

There's a tub of brightly blossomed Scarlet Runner Beans at the doorway of the historic Bouckville Mill.

****

That's as far as I got before the rain came ....
but I spotted this sign at the Pleasant Valley Grange on Route 20.

Annual Chicken BBQ Sunday at Noon!

and ... coming back into Waterville ...

............. I saw another new Pedestrian Crossing sign. This one is between the point of the Park, near the watering trough, and the Masonic Temple.
