**********************************

It's Garbage Day.
48 degrees and dry at 5:30 a.m.

The Weather Forecast from TWCNY:

"Warm and Pleasant Today, Very Nice Stretch Ahead.
With high pressure in control for much of the week ahead and it will be the combination of a milder air mass, a bit of a southerly flow developing and some sun that will help warm temperatures into the 60s and possibly even low 70s for the middle of the week to start November!!
The next chance of getting rain will probably not come until later Friday when a cold front nears and moves through late Friday/Friday night and chills us back down to more seasonable levels, if not below average for the first full weekend of November."

 Here & There

Have you seen the new colors on the Waterville Historical Society?

Surely, the brightest spot in the Village is the Annual Jack-o-Lantern Display at the Jurczak home on Sanger Avenue.
(I don't know how many there are. If you double-click the image perhaps you can count them, or - maybe - Matt will let me know!)

There is still some beautiful color to be seen out in the countryside.
This photo, by Jeff Reynolds, is a view of Beaver Creek Road from Route 20.  (Thank you, Jeff!)

Afternoon light on Grant Hill.

Poplars (or "Aspen") are all gold, now.  This copse is next to Route 20 near Madison Street.

 The waterfall on Gridley-Page Road.

There may be a couple of late Announcements  (one that I'm sure of) but, other than posting those, I'll be "off" for a week enjoying the mild weather.
