It's Recyclables Day.
67 degrees and drying off at 5:30 a.m.

TWCNY's Forecast for Today:

Morning clouds and any leftover showers on Wednesday will give way to increasing sunshine as drier air works in from the northwest. Wednesday will be breezy, cooler and less humid with highs in the upper 60s and low 70s. High pressure will set us up for a quiet finish to the week and after seeing temperatures climb into the upper 70s Thursday, highs should return to the mid 80s Friday.

A few scattered showers and thunderstorms return to the forecast over the weekend with highs in the 80s Saturday and Sunday.

YESTERDAY was .....

Sorry I'm late!

There were sprinkles off and on but it only really rained during the time that I was driving around trying to take pictures!

Berrill Avenue may appear to be just wet, but it's also very smooth!

Just noticed: another Pedestrian Crossing sign - this one on Stafford Avenue in front of St. Bernard's Church.

Pretty window boxes (with Hop Vines, too, I think) certainly do brighten up the former Waterville Times building.

The roadside bank just south of the Railway underpass on Route 12 is packed with Wild Sweet Peas and Fennel!

Work goes right along on the new addition at the Veterinarian's Office on Madison Street.

Another WCS Grad Makes News!

Kris Eisenhut, previous owner of "The Kountry Kafe" in Deansboro, sold the Kafe last September to move south and he now resides in Vidalia, Georgia, where he opened and owns a new Italian Restaurant,  "Rialto Italian Eatery."

"It's a very neat old  brick building in Old downtown Vidalia. We have been open for just about two months now, and it's a big hit. We serve about 130 guests a night and usually have a hour wait as I don't take reservations."

Check out the photos on the Rialto's Facebook page.

They'll make you hungry!
