Warm high pressure will dominate for Friday and throughout the holiday weekend with more summery heat and humidity. Friday may feature an isolated shower while all three days this holiday weekend look dry.
The risk for an isolated shower or thunderstorm will return next week. Unseasonably warm temperatures will also continue."

This is the one week of the year when the otherwise unpopular, terribly invasive "Japanese Knotweed," makes up for its nuisance value......
....... with the sweet-scented displays of tiny white flowers that led someone to bring the first plants to North America from England in the mid-1800s.
